Membership Committee

Mission:

The Membership Committee, is responsible for increasing the number of members and ensuring the retention of these
members. The Committee recommends policies, procedures, and initiatives to assure a growing and vital membership
organization. The Committee is comprised of 3 or more board members and 1 UTCAP member. The committee chair is
determined by vote of the committee members, but must be a board member.

Duties:

Activities & Continuing Education Committee

Mission:

This committee, is responsible for planning Continuing Education classes and other activities to increase the professionalism
and competency of Utah appraisers. The committee is comprised of at least 3 board members and 1 UTCAP member. The
committee chair is determined by vote of the committee members, but must be a board member.

Duties:

Bylaws, Legislative Affairs & Public Relations Committee:

Mission:

The Bylaws Committee recommends, and reviews proposed changes to the bylaws to ensure that the bylaws reflect the
purpose and goals of UTCAP. Monitor legislation and current events that impact the practice of real property appraising
and inform the membership and community of these issues. This committee will look for opportunities to share with the
public about the appraisal industry and any changes in the profession that might impact the public and/or realtors. The
committee is comprised of 3 board members and 1 regular UTCAP member. The committee chair is determined by vote
of the committee members.
